If this doesn't scare you it should!
Your confidential company content is being leaked right now and you don't even know it - until it bites you!
In researching for development on my latest venture, NoteAffect’s, Meeting-Master, I discovered that your biggest data security threat was not from the outside - but from the inside! This research intrigued me because, despite a leak I had during the due diligence process when selling my last company, Core-apps, I never thought of any of my staff as data security threats. Yet, here I was reading several articles that said this was a big problem!

I put the links to some of these articles in this writing to prove my point, but in summary, they point out that it’s not just the staff’s fault, it is also the company’s fault. Most company’s do not have good data security training as well as good data management. Right now, you are probably thinking, I’ve never been through any data security training at any of my jobs – and you likely never will. Like me, most companies trust their staff to do the right thing and protect their data. However, is the right thing always the right thing?
“At least, when it came to sharing information, the employees thought they had good reasons -- they were told to do it by their managers, they thought it would help the company, they thought it would help them be more effective in their job, or they were helping out the recipient.” *
The good news is that most of the 72% that were sharing confidential information - it probably was not malicious! You may have experienced a leak of confidential data before, but it only caused some minor disruption, and you were able to mitigate the effect. However, you can’t always expect you will solve the issue next time – and it could be devastating to your company or reputation. Over 60% of business meetings share some level of confidential information that needs to be protected. Until now, nothing could protect this type of confidential content and material. Using anti-virus, firewalls, or any other network security solution doesn’t protect you from screenshots, screen recording, and screen sharing. If you think that this might not be a problem, well, there are many articles on this (some as seen above), and the internet is filled with developer blogs/logs on trying to solve this problem. That sounded like a challenge for an entrepreneur like me. It was not an easy challenge. But fortunately, my platform, Meeting-Master, has an excellent reporting scheme, and I figured out one thing that the others overlooked. SO, we patented the process, and now there is a solution raising the bar to protect your company.
